The first Prime Day event came to life on Amazon’s 20th birthday on July 15, 2015. Prime Day is Amazon's deal event exclusively for Prime members, featuring deals on top brands and small businesses.
When is Amazon Prime Day?
In 2023, Amazon Prime Day was held from Tuesday to Wednesday, July 11-12. Similarly, in 2022, the event took place on July 12-13, falling on a Tuesday and Wednesday. In 2021, Prime Day occurred on June 21-22, marking a slightly different timeframe.
From 2015 to 2019, the sales event typically occurred in July, around the 16th or 17th. However, in 2020, the date was postponed to October due to the prevailing global circumstances.
